Colomboard Store Now Open

July 24, 2013

When we planned Colomboard, we wanted it to be two things: a platform for creative Sri Lankans to share inspiration, and an online store where they can sell their products. The first went into public beta last month, and today we unveil the second. The Colomboard Store will feature products from the brilliant Sri Lankan designers who have joined our community. We’ll expand the list of featured designers as we go on, starting with Accessory Fort and Scribble, two of our most popular entrepreneurs:

Accessory Fort – Prashasthi Kaluarachchi

Accessory Fort makes fashionable accessories of the finest quality using silver and brass. The founder, Prashasthi, is currently an undergrad student of the University of Moratuwa.

Scribble! – Pathum Egodawatta, Sumudu Hemachandra and Sajaan Peris

Scribble! is a venture of la-ulu, a group of talented young designers. They make one-of-a-kind sketchbooks and notebooks with high quality paper and vibrantly coloured fabric covers with exotic prints. Their eco-range uses fabrics salvaged from garment factory waste. Check out their products, and those of others who are in the line up, at Colomboard!
