UI Design

Before we became web designers and developers, we were users, and therefore something that we’ve always had a passion for is user interface design. Although UI design can be confusing to many, we understood it early on because we realised that we had been unknowingly focusing on it for years. Whether building websites or web applications, we’ve always looked at making them as simple to use as possible, and it is this that we later built upon when specialising in web application interface design. At the moment, we’re proud to say that we’re one of Sri Lanka’s top firms when it comes to user interface related solutions.

Simplicity, usability, speed – these are our priorities when it comes to putting together applications. Thus, an important part of this is naturally seeing how we can make Human Computer Interaction (HCI) as seamless as possible. From putting together preliminary wire frames, to analysing navigational components via heatmaps and finally making changes to the UI based on our findings, we view the user interface design as a sub process of any development initiative.

In an age where software is becoming more and more complex, it is vital that interfaces remain simple and easy to understand. The problems caused by bad interfaces tend to compound and build on each other until they affect virtually all areas of your solution. By having a solid, streamlined UI design plan, a lot of these errors can be avoided or fixed quickly, resulting in a rich and positive user experience.
