Getting into web application development was always one of Vesess’ goals, and a few years in, we put together our first Ruby on Rails app CurdBee. Being one of the first true web 2.0 apps out of Sri Lanka, we are proud to lead our country in RoR development. Ruby on Rails development is not our only forte, however, and we are also well versed in working with PHP and the many web application frameworks that use it. As a company that began on the web, we weathered the storms of passing technology and moved from static HTML to dynamic content served with PHP, and finally onto CMS based development. Of course, when web applications became popular, we didn’t jump in right away. We read, we thought, we played around a lot, and then of course did our fair share of market research. In the end, we decided that online billing could be made better, and jumped right in to create CurdBee.
