MyCarbonStash - Green Event Map
The team behind MyCarbonStash came to Vesess looking for a way to help inject some life into their news service. While green news from around the globeis always interesting, they wanted a way to make it visual, and put the world in focus.
Using the Google Maps API, Vesess put together, a fast, efficient information mashup that spliced the MCS news feed, and placed each event somewhere in the globe, rendering an interactive world map that showed exactly where recent events were taking place.
This functionality, coupled with a lean, mean, green design, give MCS the perfect outlook as it gears itself to take its message to more and more people all over the world. All in all, MCS is a fine example of people using the Internet to create change in their surroundings, and Vesess is proud to have been a part of the project.
