Kickstart your coding project with a Vesess Alpha grant.
Vesess Alpha supports school and university students in Sri Lanka to take on a coding challenge of their choice. Successful applicants are awarded grants of Rs. 100,000 to work on their projects for 3 months under the guidance and mentorship of the Vesess team. We accept applications from both individuals and teams of up to 3 members.
The grants come with no strings attached: they’re not loans or equity investments. A Vesess Alpha grant is a great way for young technophiles to start working on their pet projects in a supportive environment, and for nascent entrepreneurs to take the first step in their startup journey. The true value of Vesess Alpha is in the opportunity to learn from our designers, engineers and business leaders who have bootstrapped Vesess for 14 years.
2018: The Inaugural Edition
Vesess Alpha was launched in November 2017, for the projects to begin in January 2018. In this inaugural edition, we had five grants for university students.
